Originally from Kelowna, BC, Filipino-Canadian Mariel Abella currently resides in Vancouver as a general designer. She is a 2D Animation 2020 graduate at Capilano University. She might seem pretty quiet, but rile her up and she’s got a loud laugh. She’s passionate about creating stories based on inclusivity and compassion, and finding the beauty in simple things.
